Sara had to flee Aleppo in Syria with her family and has been living in Germany for four years. Supporting other people is very important to her, as she herself knows how difficult it is to achieve something without help from others. Professionally, she would therefore like to work in a field where she can support and help people - such as medicine. To realise this goal, she has been doing voluntary service at the UKE (University Medical Centre Hamburg-Eppendorf) since the beginning of August. In the coming months, Sara will report here on what she experiences at the hospital.
